Ms. Mitchell has been counsel to some of the world’s most renowned educational and artistic institutions. Cathy has also represented individual executives, attorneys, CPAs, physicians, mothers, fathers, and others in highly complex and sensitive business and personal matters. She has worked as in-house counsel to an international sporting goods manufacturer and advised start-ups through international technology giants, an international flavor and fragrance manufacturer, a global consumer products manufacturer with a household name, as well as professionals and executives in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, financial services, entertainment, legal and accounting industries. Perhaps the greatest compliment has been Cathy’s engagement as personal counsel by the founding partner in the break up and dissolution of a law firm.
Cathy has had the privilege to represent Broadway producers, as well as artists, authors, fashion designers, sports figures and other celebrities.
A graduate of the University of Florida Warrington College of Business and University of Florida College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, Ground Zero of the Gator Nation, Cathy grew up in South Florida and is a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame and Florida Blue Key Leadership Honorary (FBK) at The University of Florida. Cathy has devoted much of her life to mentoring entrepreneurs of all ages and in all stages of life. More importantly Cathy has been the recipient of mentoring from some of the most extraordinary attorneys, business people, scientists, artists, and academicians to whom Cathy owes an immense debt of gratitude, and to whom she dedicates her work.
